In Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance, we assist our clients in addressing accounting and financial reporting challenges. As part of a dynamic team, you will provide insights and services that enhance analytics, decision-making, and innovation, contributing to a more effective finance function. This role offers ongoing professional development through diverse experiences, world-class learning, and individualized coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a range of clients across various industries to assess the impact of new accounting standards and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain strong networks both internally and externally.
  • Report to Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners during various engagement stages.
  • Provide accounting advisory services to ensure compliance with IFRS and IPSAS standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in line with IFRS and IPSAS.
  • Guide clients on adopting new accounting standards and their impact on financial reporting.
  • Collaborate on streamlining accounting processes for improved efficiency.
  • Consult on complex accounting issues, ensuring high-quality, clear, and accurate deliverables.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Deliver effective execution of the FAAS service delivery framework and support major transactions with strategic insights.

** Skills and Attributes for Success:**

  • Proactive, accountable, and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as SOCPA/CPA/CIA/CMA are a plus.
  • Mandatory audit experience and 2-6 years in financial accounting with knowledge of IFRS and/or IPSAS standards.
  • Previous experience with a Big Four accounting firm is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as necessary.
