This role targets software engineers specializing in virtualisation and container technology. We seek exceptional Go, Rust, or C/C++ engineers interested in developing next-generation open source virtualization or container technologies, including related networking and storage solutions. Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, debugging, and engaging with upstream communities on feature design, security analyses, performance benchmarking, and collaborative problem-solving.
What We Are Looking For:
- An exceptional academic background with a degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Experience with open source virtualization or container technology.
- Background in kernel or low-level systems development.
- Proficiency in professional written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a drive for performance.
Work Conditions:
- Remote work environment with the possibility of traveling twice a year for company events, each lasting up to two weeks.
- This position is full-time and compensates based on geographic location, experience, and performance.
