Continuous Improvement Specialist - Vertiv Operating Systems

About the Job: As a Continuous Improvement Specialist at the company, you will lead and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, such as Lean and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, to enhance department performance in alignment with the organization’s key initiatives. Your role will involve developing, executing, and sustaining effective process improvements that drive KPI enhancements while utilizing the company Operating System (VOS) methodologies. You will act as a change agent, facilitating the necessary cultural transformation and ensuring the adoption of successful process improvement practices, while identifying and resolving barriers to project success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned departments’ business improvement projects, which include data analysis, preparation & planning, change management, and training in CI methodologies like LEAN.
• Impact the core processes of the assigned department.
• Interact frequently with peer groups to exchange information and best practices, engage in basic problem resolution, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Drive change initiatives and promote process excellence.
• Collaborate with the department manager to develop and implement the VOS strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of 3+ years’ experience.
• Six Sigma / Lean certifications are preferred.
• Proven track record in operational execution.
• Experience leading diverse teams to achieve common goals.
• Ability to engage with all organizational levels.
• Capability to operate in a matrix management environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Quality-focused, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
