Continuous Improvement Specialist - Vertiv Operating Systems

The Continuous Improvement Specialist at the company is responsible for leading and implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, including Lean and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, which are aimed at enhancing department performance in alignment with organizational key initiatives. This role involves collaborating with a highly skilled team of change agents to drive effective process improvements and enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through the company Operating System (VOS) methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a change agent to foster cultural transformation and ensure the adoption of successful process improvement practices.
• Diagnosing barriers to project success and facilitating resolutions.
• Leading business improvement projects within assigned departments, including data analysis, change management, and training in CI methodologies.
• Partnering with department managers to develop and deploy VOS strategies.
• Implementing site analysis for baseline assessments of business processes and ensuring continuous measurement and improvement.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Six Sigma / Lean certifications preferred.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of operational execution and leading diverse teams.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in a matrix management environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to creatively apply solutions to customer/client issues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Quality-focused and results-oriented.
