Position

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will be responsible for leading and implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, including Lean and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, to enhance departmental performance in alignment with organizational key initiatives. This role involves working as part of a skilled team of change agents across various departments and, when applicable, with external customers and suppliers. The specialist will develop, execute, and sustain effective process improvements that drive KPI enhancements utilizing the company Operating System (VOS) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a change agent, facilitating cultural transformation and the adoption of successful process improvement practices.
  • Lead assigned department’s business improvement projects, including data analysis, planning, change management, and training in CI methodologies like LEAN.
  • Share responsibility for process improvement with the department manager.
  • Directly impact core processes, interact with peers for information exchange, and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Implement site analysis encompassing baseline assessments and continuous measurement and improvement.
  • Partner with department managers to develop and deploy VOS strategies.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (3+ years).
  • Six Sigma / Lean certifications preferred.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in operational execution.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams towards common goals.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
  • Ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels and work in a matrix management environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational capabilities, and execution orientation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to negotiate and facilitate effectively.
  • Must possess quality focus, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
