Continuous Improvement Specialist - Vertiv Operating Systems

About
Responsible for leading and implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) projects (e.g., Lean and Lean Six Sigma initiatives) to improve department performance in alignment with key initiatives across the organization. Be part of a highly skilled team of change agents working with all areas of assigned departments as well as aspects related to external customers and suppliers when applicable. Develop, execute, and sustain effective process improvements that drive KPI improvements utilizing the company Operating System (VOS) methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a change agent by driving the required cultural transformation and the adoption of successful process improvement practices, diagnosing barriers to project success, and facilitating resolution.
• Lead assigned departments’ business improvement projects including data analysis, preparation & planning, change management, and training of CI methodology (e.g., LEAN).
• Directly impact assigned department’s core processes.
• Frequently interact with peer groups involving information/best practice exchange, basic problem resolution, and process improvement opportunities identification.
• Lead change initiatives and drive process excellence.
• Implement site analysis including baseline of assigned departments’ business processes and continuous measurement and improvement.
• Partner with department manager to develop and deploy VOS strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of 3 plus years’ experience.
• Six Sigma / Lean certifications, preferred.
• Proven track record of operational execution.
• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills.
• Excellent facilitation skills.
• Quality focused, attentive to detail, and results-oriented.
• Ability to influence positive change effectively.
