Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control systems including PID, adaptive, and model-based strategies for stabilization and tracking.
- Develop real-time control algorithms for high-precision electro-optical systems.
- Create and refine mathematical models and simulations to predict performance.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate control systems with sensors and actuators.
- Conduct system tuning, validation, and optimization to achieve required stability, accuracy, and response time.
- Test, troubleshoot, and document control algorithms in lab and field environments.
- Prepare technical papers, reports, and proposals for stakeholders.
- Support testing and qualification efforts for optical systems and sensors.
- Conduct market studies and evaluate emerging technologies for business development.
- Provide mentorship and technical oversight within the team.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in control systems engineering with a focus on gimbal stabilization.
- Strong understanding of control theory, control system design, and model-based approaches.
- Experience in designing control algorithms for stabilization and tracking systems.
- Hands-on experience with real-time control algorithms in embedded systems, PLCs, or DSPs.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation.
- Knowledge of C, C++ for embedded system development is preferred.
- Familiarity with sensors and actuators for target tracking and stabilization.
