Key responsibilities include:
- Creating mathematical models and simulations to predict performance and refine control strategies in dynamic environments.
- Collaborating with hardware and software teams to integrate control systems with sensors (IMU, gyroscopes, accelerometers) and actuators.
- Conducting system tuning, validation, and optimization to meet stability, accuracy, and response time targets.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and documenting control algorithms in both lab and field environments.
- Creating and delivering technical papers, reports, and proposals to stakeholders.
- Supporting laboratory testing and qualification efforts for optical systems and sensor products, developing test plans, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting results.
- Assisting business development by conducting market studies and evaluating emerging technologies in optical sensor systems.
- Providing mentorship, technical oversight, and task delegation as needed.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on gimbal stabilization.
- Strong understanding of control theory and design.
- Experience designing control algorithms for stabilization and tracking systems.
- Hands-on experience with real-time control algorithms in embedded systems, PLCs, or DSPs.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation.
- Knowledge of C, C++ for embedded system development is a plus.
- Experience with sensors and actuators used in target tracking and stabilization.
- Expertise in testing, tuning, and validating control systems for high-precision applications.
