About the Role
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR function of the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and maintaining efficient filing systems, preparing office correspondence, and managing mail distribution. You will also assist with the hiring process, maintain confidentiality regarding employee records, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain filing systems
  • Create and type office correspondence using a computer
  • Distribute and route mail
  • Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms
  • Answer phone calls and record messages
  • Create new employee personnel files
  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures
  • Maintain a clean and accessible space designated for completing applications
  • Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines
  • Inform HR management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records and information
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9's)
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional personal appearance
  • Protect company assets and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate using clear and professional language; review written documents for accuracy
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required
  • License or Certification: None required
