What You'll Do
- Work closely with the content marketing manager and customer marketing team to write innovative content that aligns with marketing objectives.
- Understand how to calibrate tone of voice within the framework of a brand.
- Lead the brand’s tone of voice across the business to ensure all content and copy are on brand, and consistent in terms of style and quality.
- Create content for growth experiments, activations, and push notifications to align marketing campaigns with brand tone and guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing managers, customer, and product teams working on daily communications.
- Recommend creative content strategies to support marketing efforts and product features.
- Work with local stakeholders to deliver best content practices.
- Conceive, develop, and produce effective campaigns.
- Curate communications, in-app content, blogs, videos, and articles.
- Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed by marketing teams.
- Work within tight deadlines and respond to feedback in a timely manner.
- Check copy for spelling and grammar errors.
- Research competitors and keep abreast of market trends.
- Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with the creative team.
What You'll Need
- Min 3 years of relevant experience as a Copywriter/Content Writer.
- Mastery of written and verbal communication in English and Arabic (preferably formal Arabic; KSA dialect a plus).
- A creative thinker with a passion for turning consumer insights into creative articulation.
- Proven ability to successfully develop and execute multi-channel content copies.
- Independent, proactive, and critical thinking skills.
- Communication guru, up to date with latest trends/events.
- Good team player, organized, and with good attention to detail.
- Experience in a high-growth consumer-oriented startup.
- Able to deliver on tight deadlines and keen to work in a fast-paced environment.
