Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop the department's strategy, goals, initiatives, and plans while providing guidance and direction to subordinates during the execution of major plans.
- Lead departmental operations, establish clear direction, and champion alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor the department's annual budget, including financial and staff requirements.
- Drive operational improvement initiatives based on identified performance gaps.
- Develop and maintain departmental guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure their implementation.
- Lead, develop, and motivate departmental employees while promoting the company's culture, values, and behaviors.
IT Strategy & Governance:
- Manage the design and implementation of information security controls to protect company information systems.
- Oversee network security controls and solutions to safeguard against attacks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructures.
- Review business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify potential disruptions.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
IT Infrastructure:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of IT network infrastructure components.
- Diagnose performance issues and manage upgrades or fixes as necessary.
- Evaluate IT network infrastructure-related risks and develop policies accordingly.
IT Applications:
- Oversee application development projects, ensuring adherence to technical and functional specifications.
- Manage the ERP system, ensuring it aligns with business requirements.
- Lead the management of IT database infrastructure components.
IT Help Desk:
- Ensure timely and effective IT help desk support for all employees.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 12 to 14 years of experience in IT or a related field.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of digital/IT trends and leading practices.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
