As a Cortex (Cards) Technical Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Using tools for message simulation and transaction testing.
- Validating settlement, reconciliation, and reporting flows.
- Examining database tables, logs, and message queues for transaction anomalies.
- Handling card management file flows, including settlement, authorization, and chargebacks.
- Performing data migration, Oracle database optimization, and PL/SQL coding.
- Developing and debugging shell scripts for batch processing in Linux/Unix environments.
- Coordinating with VISA/Mastercard/MADA for file flows and compliance.
- Debugging and fixing transaction failures and settlement mismatches.
- Working with core banking systems, payment gateways, and ATM/POS networks.
- Troubleshooting complex transaction failures across multiple layers in FIS Cortex modules, switch interfaces, middleware, and core banking connections.
