Country Security Operations Manager

As a Country Security Operations Manager in CO+I Physical Security, you will be part of a global team dedicated to delivering a trustworthy security program to protect personnel, infrastructure, data, and confidential information foundational to the Microsoft Cloud.

You will be accountable for physical security operations at datacenters and other related facilities within the applicable country. This role involves managing in-country Datacenter Security Operations Managers responsible for security operations in their respective areas. You will lead teams in collaborating with stakeholders to meet security requirements and provide capabilities, anticipating country-specific insecurities and disruptive events. Your role will also include leading discussions to develop strategies for risk mitigation and responding to residual risks.

Additionally, you will communicate risk analysis findings and root cause analysis reports to internal and external stakeholders and leaders. The position offers an opportunity for career growth, deeper physical security acumen, and global security program management.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

• Multiple years' experience in Physical Security Program, Program Management, or related field
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Risks or related field AND multiple years' experience in Security Program/Management, or equivalent experience
• Multiple years of people management experience
• Industry security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or relevant certifications
• Experience with regulatory and industry compliance frameworks and audits (e.g., ISO27001, SOC, PCI)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct field site visits across the assigned portfolio of datacenters to assess security health and implement remediation plans
• Develop and maintain physical security Standard Operations Procedures (SOP)
• Provide situational awareness and analysis of the country-wide security environment
• Attract, develop, and retain team talent, delivering results through teamwork
• Design, implement, and monitor security controls to manage risks to infrastructure, business, people, and assets
• Be available on-call 24x7x365 and travel as needed
• Manage incident response effectively
