About the Job:
The Country Technology Manager is responsible for the availability, performance, and security of applications in the production environment for business and other functions. This role includes the implementation and maintenance of all in-country data centers and infrastructure, such as servers, networks, storage devices, external connectivity gateways, and telephony systems. The manager will engage with various teams on new initiatives, rollouts, and problem resolutions, serving as an interface between business/operations stakeholders and other technology domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the country technology budget, supporting technology initiatives and risks.
  • Drive the agenda for technology product launches, system enhancements, and issue resolutions.
  • Conduct service review meetings with relevant parties to ensure local systems and infrastructure are maintained.
  • Own and implement service improvement initiatives for systems performance and stability.
  • Act as the single management point of contact for high-severity incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and risk guidelines in technology.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills, strong analytical ability, and sound project management capabilities.
