Key Responsibilities
- Regular interaction with customers for payment collections, analyzing outstanding payments, and following up to ensure timely sales realization.
- Ensure all debts are paid on time and maintain accurate records of all payment chasing activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all customers to encourage timely recovery of payments.
- Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal inquiries.
- Maintain and verify the accuracy of credit control reports and analyze customer financial liabilities.
- Meet monthly processing deadlines as required.
- Send out monthly client emails/letters as agreed upon.
- Undertake reconcile collected and pending debts during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reviews of customer balances on the aging report.
- Provide accurate advice regarding billing queries.
- Interface with management in other departments to ensure alignment on payment processes.
- Perform any relevant ad-hoc duties or special projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 5 - 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good planning and organizational skills to effectively balance and prioritize work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
