Critical Environment Program Manager

As a Critical Environment Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for the company's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the company Azure platform. With environmental sustainability and optimization at the forefront of our datacenter design and operations, we continue to grow and evolve as we meet the ever-changing business demands that hold the company as a world-class cloud provider.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with data center business units and service-level policies.
• Manages programs associated with area of responsibility, demonstrating conscientiousness on cost and adhering to budget requirements.
• Maximize Critical Environment (CE) availability in conjunction with landlord partners at our leased Datacenters to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in our leased Datacenters.
• Support delivery of the Datacenter’s Emergency Preparedness and Response plans and act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues.
• Work with regional and global peers to share and build best practices across the entire datacenter portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years industry experience in a datacenter or other critical environment facility, or 3+ years industry experience with college course work.
• Ability to meet company, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
• Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) and a Bachelor’s Degree or Technical College certification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
