Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Ensure the platform's scalability to support increasing traffic and international expansion.
- Implement robust, scalable, and secure systems and architectures.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology department, including software development, infrastructure management, and technical support.
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
- Drive the development of new features and enhancements to improve user experience and expand our product offerings.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with other executives, product managers, and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure the highest standards of security and data privacy, implementing best practices for risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and developing strategies to lower costs and increase revenue.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions and services as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CTO scaling up a technology startup.
- Extensive experience managing technology platforms with millions of daily users.
- Strong technical expertise in software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to scale technology solutions to support high levels of traffic and international markets.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
