As an EMEA Custom Consulting Executive in our Custom Consulting Team, you will step into a role where you lead, orchestrate and drive customer value by being at the heart of custom deal making in a sales capacity. Your career growth will be accelerated as you expand your technology & strategic partnership expertise and take ownership of strategic opportunities from inception to successful deal closure. You will build your knowledge of cutting-edge technologies as you present solutions that enhance cloud consumption for our customers. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and orchestrate customer value through complex deal making, tackle our customers' major business challenges, and accelerate your career growth by leveraging cutting-edge solutions to drive our most transformational projects. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with local leaders and their sales teams, establishing strong partnerships and driving a consistent Cross-CSA approach aligned to company strategy and applying a regional approach to meet customer needs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement with SPT and Area MCAPS Sales teams.
  • Bringing impactful technology and industry insights into customer engagements and closing deals with customers, and coaching and influencing others internally on how to do this.
  • Leveraging deep sales & delivery experience to drive a consultative sale and build trust with C-level executives.
  • Influencing Microsoft's strategic direction across various markets.
  • Leading a virtual cross-organizational team on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value.
  • Actively participating in the sales planning, orchestration, and deal closure leveraging Microsoft’s sales methodology.
  • Shaping and selling custom consulting solutions with technical acumen that maximize Microsoft investments.
  • Continuously building sales expertise, learning, and evolving Transformative solutions knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more of the CSAs.
  • Strong experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts, with an understanding of industry trends and challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific needs and significantly contribute to account planning.
  • Experience interacting with senior stakeholders, with growing confidence in navigating C-level relationships.
  • Capable of driving executive meetings and articulating the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices.
  • Experience driving the sales cycle for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND significant years of industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g., Finance, Local Government, etc.) or related work.
  • Substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery experience.
