Your role will involve listening to customers and delivering solutions that are most beneficial for them. As a Customer Engineer, you will assist sales teams by resolving key technical issues, liaising with product marketing management and engineering teams, and staying informed about industry trends.
You will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs and shaping the future through AI technology. Working with Google Cloud Platform's technology and complete AI stack, you will support Google Cloud sales teams in piloting and deploying industry-leading AI/ML accelerators at various levels of organizations. This includes collaborating with customers on AI infrastructure deployments and guiding discussions on network topologies, computing, storage, and server/network/cluster/cooling deployments.

Responsibilities:
- Understand and incorporate AI accelerators into overall cloud and IT strategy by designing large-scale training and inferencing platforms.
- Demonstrate the differentiation of Google Cloud through customer POCs, showcasing features, optimizing model performance, and conducting benchmarking.
- Collaborate with customers to demonstrate and prototype technology integrations in their environments, including data centers.
- Assist account teams in closing agreements from a technical perspective.
- Advocate for enterprise customer requirements while collaborating with the AI Infrastructure Dedicated Engineering team.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, data centers, and related events as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architectures and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with high-performance infrastructure technology, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Proven ability to engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Background in networking for customer-facing or support roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience as an IT infrastructure consultant or enterprise architect.
- Experience with AI infrastructure systems and technologies.
- Ability to rapidly grow in a dynamic environment with demonstrated entrepreneurial drive.
