About the Role
This position is part of an Emiratization program and, in line with UAE Emiratization requirements and applicable UAE legislation, is open exclusively to UAE Nationals (Emirati citizens). Applicants may be required to provide documentation confirming their Emirati nationality during the recruitment process.
The role is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. The position involves handling customer problems or incidents until resolution, performing minor repairs, assisting in site preparation, and building positive relationships with customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Installation, maintenance, and repairs on financial/ATM products and other equipment within the assigned territory.
- Ownership of customer problems or incidents until resolution in compliance with Service Level Agreements.
- Performing minor repairs and replacing components on Tier I equipment including PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, and ATMs.
- Assisting in site preparation including cable installation, equipment staging, and minor testing.
- Responding to customer concerns and escalating issues as needed.
- Building working relationships with customers and representing the company positively.
- Conducting periodic preventative maintenance, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing components as necessary.
- Responsible for the company's assets used in service delivery and maintaining an appropriate parts inventory.
- Accurate reporting of calls, activities, and expenses incurred in service delivery.
- Capturing detailed customer asset information for invoicing and billing.
- May involve daily dispatch on a call-by-call basis or self-established schedules.
- May require prolonged travel and physical tasks, including carrying and lifting tools and parts.
- Collaborating with other staff to recover machines and ensure customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Windows operating systems.
- Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support.
- A+ Certification.
- ITE or Polytechnic qualification in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Experience in maintaining computer hardware, including desktops and networks.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Previous experience with the company or similar equipment is a plus.
- CCNA certification preferred.
