About the Job
As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Solutions Manager (CSM), you will be responsible for guiding AWS customers along their multi-year journey to the cloud. In this highly visible position, you will ensure effective collaboration between AWS teams and Partners to deliver optimal outcomes for our customers. As a trusted partner, you will leverage your delivery experience with technical change programs to help customers navigate operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.

You will interface with AWS customers and leadership, driving collaboration among core account groups such as Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, product/engineering teams, and customer teams to plan and support workload migrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions, working back from customer key milestones.
  • Deliver education plans and align roadmaps to business outcomes, including Executive Briefing Sessions and go-live events and transitions.
  • Lead cloud transformational programs (technical, operational, organizational, education) across IT teams and business units.
  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for Migrations and Strategic Initiatives.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and developing technologies related to cloud computing to unlock opportunities for customers.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and enablement.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, supporting Change Management to facilitate AWS Services adoption.
  • Help shape the Customer Solutions Management function by defining and implementing new processes, methodologies, and tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record in thought leadership and successful program completion.
  • 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role with engagement related to solving business problems with advanced technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovation in developing technology programs across customer organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Experience in leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams across broad functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of AWS Services and Solutions is advantageous.
  • AWS Solution Architect (Professional Level) certification required within 3 months from the start date.
  • Project management certification or training (e.g., PMP, Scrum, Agile) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Cloud, Security, AI/ML, Analytics, IoT.
  • Expertise in delivering large-scale migration, modernization, and rationalization engagements.
