Key Responsibilities:
- Validate current and new websites and mobile apps, ensuring they are designed and implemented with the highest security standards.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define, implement, and continuously improve security-by-design principles.
- Develop and implement effective security testing strategies by leveraging cutting-edge security research.
- Educate the software developer community on secure coding practices and lead awareness workshops.
- Implement DevSecOps principles by automating security activities, such as static and dynamic analysis.
- Provide security advisory during product grooming sessions to prioritize security backlogs.
- Understand and design solutions to complex business problems while following security engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with diverse audiences, including business stakeholders and customer leadership, to improve cybersecurity practices.
- Lead technical cybersecurity expertise for the dnata international portfolio.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of OWASP Top 10 (Web & Mobile)
- Clear understanding of network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS)
- Strong fundamentals in application design concepts, specifically security-by-design
- Knowledge of technologies such as reverse proxies, Web Application Firewalls, CI/CD, API gateways
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Risk Management processes
- Proficient in using and implementing open-source and commercial security tools
- Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability discovery, and vulnerability management processes
- Understanding of business requirements and ability to translate them into technical requirements
