Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor security systems, networks, and applications for threats, vulnerabilities, or suspicious activity.
- Assist in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber incidents.
- Work with senior analysts to contain and mitigate threats.
- Perform basic threat analysis to identify emerging risks.
- Support vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
- Participate in routine internal security audits and assessments to ensure policy compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and investigation documentation.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to implement security measures and enhance overall security posture.
- Participate in ongoing cybersecurity training programs and foundational Security Academy pathways to strengthen technical and professional skills.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge & Skills: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat types, and industry best practices; foundational knowledge in operating systems, networking, and security tools; strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities; good written and verbal communication skills.
- Nice to Have (Not Required): Introductory familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, or incident response workflows; interest in pursuing beginner-level cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH).
