Position

About the Job: We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with a strong focus on Patch Management, Vulnerability Assessment, and Penetration Testing (VAPT). This role will involve working with advanced Managed Detection and Response (MDR) monitoring systems and Network Detection and Response (NDR) solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving the security posture of the organization, coordinating VAPT assessments with vendors, and implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vulnerability Assessment, Patch Management, and VAPT (70%):

    • Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments using tools like Qualys.
    • Manage and coordinate the patching process across the organization’s assets.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for VAPT assessments and ensure timely remediation.
    • Analyze vulnerabilities for severity and risk impact.
    • Provide detailed reports on vulnerabilities and progress related to VAPT.
  • DLP Solution Management (15%):

    • Manage DLP solutions to safeguard sensitive data.
    • Design, deploy, and configure DLP policies based on legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and respond to DLP alerts.
  • SIEM/MDR/NDR Monitoring (15%):

    • Utilize SIEM/MDR platforms for security event data analysis and threat detection.
    • Manage NDR technologies to monitor network traffic for anomalies.
  • Collaboration and Incident Response:

    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
    • Participate in incident response activities and develop training programs on cybersecurity best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity with expertise in Vulnerability Management and VAPT assessments.
  • Proficiency in using Qualys for vulnerability assessments.
  • Experience in coordinating with third-party vendors for penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with DLP solutions, SIEM/MDR platforms, and NDR tools.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and OWASP Top 10.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Qualys modules, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GIAC GPEN).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with other vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus and Acunetix.
