Cyber Security Associate

The Cyber Security Associate is an entry-level position at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, intended for UAE Nationals - recent graduates only. The role involves performing a variety of tasks within the Group Information Security Division (GISD), including participation in the Cyber Defense Center, Cyber Operations, Governance Risk and Compliance, Resilience, PMO, Privacy Operations, and Engineering Functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ADIB teams in data security assessments.
• Engage in a wide range of tasks such as research, internal process improvement, engineering, and operations.
• Create reports and recommendations based on findings, highlighting security issues and risks.
• Develop penetration methods, scripts, and tests.
• Present security findings and risk conclusions to management and relevant parties.
• Understand and communicate how identified risks could impact business operations.
• Monitor and report on new and emerging security threats in technology.
• Participate in GISD projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Complete assigned training with a satisfactory success rate.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required:

• Recent graduates from a reputable university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or a related field.
• Quick learner and adaptable to a highly motivated work environment.
• Basic knowledge of Cyber Security domains and risk frameworks.
• Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility, persistence, and willingness to engage in various activities.
• Understanding of trends and developments in Information Security and Risk Management.
• Fundamental knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.
