Cyber Security Associate

About the Job
The Cyber Security Associate is an entry-level position designed for UAE Nationals who are recent graduates. Based in Abu Dhabi, this role encompasses various responsibilities within the Global Information Security Division (GISD), including roles in the Cyber Defense Center, Cyber Operations, Governance Risk and Compliance, Resilience, PMO, Privacy Operations, and Engineering Functions. The associate will engage in project delivery, collaborating across diverse teams within and beyond GISD.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the company teams with data security assessments.
• Engage in tasks involving research, internal processes, engineering, and operations.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on security assessments, detailing findings and associated risks.
• Develop and implement penetration methods, scripts, and testing protocols.
• Communicate security findings and risks to management and stakeholders.
• Assess the impact of identified security flaws and risks on business operations.
• Keep abreast of new and emerging security threats in the technology sector.
• Actively participate in GISD projects and engage with stakeholders outside of GISD.
• Complete assigned training promptly and successfully.

Requirements

• Recent graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or related fields from a reputable university.
• Quick learner with adaptability to new challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and motivated work environment.
• Basic understanding of Cyber Security domains and Risk frameworks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexible and persistent with a willingness to handle diverse tasks.
• Awareness of trends in Information Security and Risk Management.
• Foundational knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.
