We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer/Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring the protection and integrity of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring & Incident Response:

    • Monitor systems and networks for potential threats or breaches.
    • Investigate and respond to security incidents.
    • Conduct forensic analysis to identify root causes.
  • System & Network Security:

    • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus tools.
    • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
    • Apply patches and updates to mitigate known risks.
  • Policy & Compliance:

    • Develop and enforce IT security policies and standards.
    • Ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
    • Conduct employee cybersecurity awareness programs.
  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess potential security risks.
    • Conduct threat modeling and recommend mitigation strategies.
    • Propose security enhancements aligned with emerging threats.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Work with IT, legal, and compliance teams.
    • Prepare reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk assessments.
    • Advise management on security best practices and investments.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
  • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scripting/programming skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (or equivalent).

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Experience Required: 2–5 years in network security, system administration, or cybersecurity operations.

Notice Period: Maximum 30 Days
