Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring & Incident Response:
- Monitor systems and networks for potential threats or breaches.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct forensic analysis to identify root causes.

System & Network Security:
- Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus tools.
- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Apply patches and updates to mitigate known risks.

Policy & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Conduct employee cybersecurity awareness programs.

Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential security risks.
- Conduct threat modeling and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Propose security enhancements aligned with emerging threats.

Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work with IT, legal, and compliance teams.
- Prepare reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk assessments.
- Advise management on security best practices and investments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Scripting/programming skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Certifications (Preferred):
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (or equivalent).
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Experience Required: 2–5 years in network security, system administration, or cybersecurity operations.
