Cyber Security Engineer

About the Job: Penta Consulting is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are seeking a proactive and analytical DFIR Engineer to join our client's cybersecurity team onsite in Dubai. This is a key role for detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats targeting telecom infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead forensic investigations and incident response efforts across telecom systems (2G/4G/5G core and access nodes).
• Perform in-depth analysis of security events, network traffic, and logs to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and root causes.
• Develop and refine playbooks for incident detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Collaborate with SOC, threat intelligence, and infrastructure teams to enhance threat visibility and reduce dwell time.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in digital forensics, malware analysis, and incident response methodologies.
• Familiarity with telecom network environments and their unique threat landscape.
• Hands-on expertise with DFIR tools (e.g., EnCase, X-Ways, Volatility, Splunk, ELK).
• Effective communicator with a calm, methodical approach during high-pressure incidents.
