Cyber Security Specialist

Join a major national digital transformation initiative shaping secure, government-grade platforms across the UAE. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will lead the design and implementation of security controls that protect sensitive data, applications, and infrastructure powering mission-critical public services.

You will work across architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to enforce end-to-end security standards. This is a hands-on role focused on risk assessment, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with UAE and international frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and enforce security policies across infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), firewall configurations, and authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, SSO, 2FA).
• Monitor network and cloud activity using SIEM and IDS/IPS tools.
• Oversee compliance with UAE FISR, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed DevSecOps practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage incident response, documentation, and threat analysis.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions across technical teams.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years of experience in information or cloud security roles.
• Strong knowledge of application security (OWASP), network protection, and encryption.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services (IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty).
• Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and security automation tools.
• Experience with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, ELK, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
• Exposure to blockchain, ERP, or digital identity platforms is a plus.
