Cybersecurity - Cloud Web Application Firewall (WAF) Engineer

About the Job:
In this role as a Cybersecurity - Cloud Web Application Firewall (WAF) Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network through effective configuration and administration of firewalls. You will work with various firewalls including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA, regulating network traffic and enforcing security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuring and administering firewalls (including but not limited to Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA) to regulate and monitor incoming and outgoing network traffic, ensuring adherence to network security policies.
• Implementing and overseeing Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) to identify and prevent network security risks, including the configuration and analysis of network traffic.
• Establishing and managing Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) using robust encryption and authentication techniques for secure remote connectivity.
• Configuring and managing proxy servers with a comprehensive understanding of the operational guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Analyzing raw firewall logs for troubleshooting and optimization, utilizing management tools such as Palo Alto Panorama, FortiManager, and AlgoSec.
