Cybersecurity Design Engineer

The company is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Design Engineer to join our team and be deployed at a client site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work closely with the client's Cybersecurity Department, leading the security design and architecture review of new technologies and solutions before they are deployed into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop High-Level Designs (HLD) for new cybersecurity solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and enterprise architecture.
• Create Low-Level Designs (LLD), including detailed implementation specifications such as firewall rules, cloud security configurations, encryption standards, and integration requirements.
• Evaluate vendor products and in-house solutions to ensure they meet cybersecurity, compliance, and operational requirements before deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, procurement, and project teams to provide security guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and recommend improvements to mitigate risks.
• Ensure all proposed solutions comply with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Support stakeholders during solution planning, implementation, and deployment to ensure secure integration into production environments.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, security design, or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience in developing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, cloud security, encryption, identity and access management, and secure system integration.
• Experience reviewing and validating security solutions before production deployment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
