As a Cybersecurity Governance & Standards Manager, you will lead the strategic advancement of Emirates Group's security governance, policies, and resilience frameworks, ensuring robust, industry-aligned policies and governance structures. Drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to strengthen compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement while embedding security into business processes to foster innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will:

  • Define, plan, and implement information security policies and resilience frameworks, integrating security and continuity into business processes.
  • Establish governance for compliance, improvement, and industry alignment.
  • Drive strategic initiatives for security reviews, audits, and performance metrics, acting as the main liaison for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through data insights, resilience investments, and proactive leadership engagement.
  • Drive the implementation and continual enhancement of the cybersecurity governance and resilience framework by leading cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor performance and foster a culture of security awareness, accountability, risk-based decision-making, and operational resilience throughout the Emirates Group.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the IT Service Continuity and IT Resilience Management strategy, collaborating with business and IT leaders to identify critical IT services, define recovery objectives, and ensure comprehensive and tested disaster recovery and continuity plans are in place, supported by ongoing training and awareness initiatives.
  • Champion stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental collaboration to ensure issues of non-compliance and resilience gaps are addressed, and roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, and audit processes within large organizations.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legal, regulatory, and industry requirements to cybersecurity governance and policy development.
  • Skills in designing and managing IT service continuity, disaster recovery, and business resilience strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills to drive policy adoption and accountability across business and IT units.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify compliance gaps, assess risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement in governance and policy processes.
