This position requires some local and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team overseeing compliance and security for AWS in Saudi Arabia.
- Serve as a single point of contact for inquiries and compliance with local regulatory obligations and information security matters.
- Conduct hands-on coordination of cybersecurity engagements with internal and external customers to address security concerns and requirements.
- Ensure security policies and procedures are documented and comply with contractual requirements and local laws.
- Engage proactively with KSA regulators and security organizations, including the National Cybersecurity Authority and other relevant government bodies.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, Technology Policy, or related fields.
- 10+ years of IT security audit, compliance, and/or relevant regulatory experience, with 5+ years in management.
- 5+ years’ experience working directly with senior government officials on security, compliance, technology, or related policy issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Saudi Arabia's privacy, security, and resilience requirements across government, financial services, and national critical infrastructure.
- Understanding of evaluating the design and effectiveness of security controls.
- Experience with sensitive or classified government systems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
