Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for and manage IS programs in close collaboration with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Legal Vehicle, and Cluster Management.
- Provide regular updates regarding the state of Information Security to Boards and Committees associated with each Legal Vehicle.
- Lead engagement with government and industry bodies on cybersecurity matters across the MEA region.
- Communicate updates on Citi’s IS strategy and posture to applicable regulators.
- Oversee IS related reviews, interacting with regulators and auditors regarding technology platform evaluations.
- Ensure timely completion of processes and projects while maintaining a strong understanding of IS policies, identifying compliance gaps, and consulting stakeholders on resolution options.
- Stay informed of the cyber threat landscape, ensuring IS programs effectively identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage compliance with IS policies, practices, and procedures, including performance metrics to support early detection and remediation of risks.
- Analyze performance metrics, report trends, and provide performance improvement recommendations to management and business leaders.
- Monitor corrective action plans (CAPs) and remediation efforts following security events and audit findings.
- Collaborate with global CISO teams to integrate Legal Entity specific requirements into global programs.
- Build and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, influencing decisions across functions despite a lack of direct authority.
- Educate management and staff on the importance of IS and collaborate with senior leaders to align on global IS objectives.
Qualifications:
- University degree and relevant certifications (CISA/CISM/CISSP).
- Strong knowledge of the regional regulatory environment and extensive experience in IT analysis/design, program/project management, or information security.
- Fluent in English with strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in people management and team building, with an emphasis on execution capability.
- Ability to operate effectively in diverse environments with in-depth knowledge of operations and processes across multiple geographies.
- Highly organized with strong project and issue management skills and excellent client relationship management abilities.
