We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with expertise in Substation Automation Systems Testing & Commissioning for various projects. This role involves overseeing the installation and commissioning of Substation Automation systems for assignments classified as medium commissioning complexity. The successful candidate will manage the completion of all commissioning activities efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Commissioning function at project meetings and design review meetings.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of the project commissioning philosophy.
- Manage commissioning design changes and the production of as-built project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement via lessons learned feedback.
- Assist Project Managers with claims related to new scope, cost impact, time impact, and risk quantifications.
- Create work plans and proactively manage responsibilities to meet agreed timelines, quality, and cost targets.
- Conduct real-time risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning to ensure safe implementation.
- Report contract/quality/program/cost issues early to management with resolution recommendations.
- Interface with customers for approval of acceptance criteria, issue closure, and performance tests.
- Develop and coach colleagues, cultivating a network of Engineering peers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Networking and Cybersecurity, with certifications such as Nozomi, Fortinet, IEC62443 (all 4 modules); Fortinet and CISCO Networking knowledge is advantageous.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer in Cybersecurity.
- Experience with large and medium complex projects and utility approval in the UAE is preferable.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and customer orientation skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
