Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Commissioning function at project meetings and design reviews.
- Contribute to the creation and management of the project commissioning philosophy.
- Implement commissioning design changes and produce as-built project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement in project processes and designs through feedback.
- Assist Project Managers with claims related to new scope, cost impact, and risk quantifications.
- Create and manage work plans, ensuring timely and quality delivery within budget.
- Conduct risk assessments during commissioning phases and report issues with recommendations.
- Act as the lead for commissioning activities, ensuring professionalism in customer interactions.
- Coordinate site activities to finalize customer acceptance certifications.
- Manage external organizations providing commissioning support and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Develop and coach colleagues and create standardized processes and tools.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering with in-depth knowledge of Networking and Cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications such as Nozomi, Fortinet, IEC62443 (all 4 modules); Fortinet and CISCO Networking knowledge is advantageous.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer in Cyber Security.
- Experience with large and medium complex projects; utility approval experience in UAE is preferable.
- Strong customer orientation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in malware protection, whitelisting, firewall configuration and implementation.
- Knowledge of Substation Automation systems and communication protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic and English is required.
