Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Commissioning function at project and design review meetings.
- Contribute to the creation and management of the project commissioning philosophy.
- Implement commissioning design changes and produce "as built" project documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of project processes and system design through feedback.
- Assist Project Managers with claims related to new scope of work, cost impact, and risk quantifications.
- Create work plans in your area of responsibility, manage tasks to deliver on time and within budget.
- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during the commissioning phase.
- Address and report any project issues related to contract, quality, program, or cost.
- Act as the lead for commissioning activities on projects and ensure professional customer relations.
- Coordinate site activities for customer acceptance certification.
- Manage third-party organizations providing commissioning equipment and services.
- Develop and coach colleagues, sharing best practices within the business unit.
- Prepare project documentation for Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and obtain utility approvals for commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with in-depth knowledge of Networking and Cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications and training (e.g., Nozomi, Fortinet, IEC62443).
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Commissioning Engineer, preferably in the UAE with utility approval experience.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and multi-tasking abilities with high customer orientation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Thorough knowledge of Networking and Cybersecurity implementations, including Firewall configurations, Malware protection, and whitelisting.
- Experience with Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
- In-depth product knowledge of the company and competitor products.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic and English is required.
