About the Job:
Mastercard powers economies and empowers people in over 200 countries and territories. The Cybersecurity Principal role is crucial in managing large complex cybersecurity engagements for major Mastercard accounts in West Arabia and Eastern Europe. As a Subject Matter Expert, the Principal will serve as the main interface to clients, responsible for client relationship management and consultative sales to enhance the Mastercard footprint for consulting services.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver large consulting projects leveraging Mastercard Cyber solutions.
  • Manage program/project management, deal economics, and client relationships.
  • Develop strategies and programs for key clients.
  • Implement Mastercard cyber technologies.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with client executives, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Suggest new offerings and refinements to existing services.
  • Position Mastercard as a leader in the Cyber industry.

Knowledge and Skillset:

  • Strong background in cyber risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of regulations and frameworks (DORA, NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Experience in managing large projects in information security and technology risk management.
  • Ability to design and implement cyber risk governance frameworks.
  • Proficient in developing risk management strategies and operational models.

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Strong analytic skills and fact-based problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree (graduate business degree preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
