Join Dimension Data as a Cybersecurity Resident Engineer L2, where you will play a critical role in protecting systems and data from cyber threats. You will be responsible for File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) tasks and Network Configuration Audits. Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to safeguard our digital assets. You will collaborate closely with IT professionals to ensure our security protocols are current and effective, and you'll work alongside development teams to mitigate security risks throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure network solutions to guard against cyber threats.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures, including FIM and API Solutions.
- Perform Network Configuration Audits and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices.
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Experience with Tripwire File Integrity Monitoring and Noname API Solutions.
- Experience in Network Configuration Audits using Nipper.
- Strong understanding of network architectures, operating systems, and encryption technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies including firewalls and SIEM systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Knowledge of web application security and secure coding practices.
