Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cybersecurity architects to design and review comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that align with NEOM’s security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and select vendors for cybersecurity technologies and services based on defined criteria.
- Conduct configuration reviews against various cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, endpoint security, IAM solutions, data security, web application security, database security, and cloud security.
- Assist in gap and maturity assessments to identify cybersecurity gaps and propose optimization plans.
- Ensure the smooth operation and functionality of security solutions through testing and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented cybersecurity solutions, configurations, and best practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the status and progress of Cybersecurity Solution Engineering activities.
- Collaborate with IT, Network and Infrastructure, and Data/Application Development teams to ensure effective integration of solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity solutions engineering.
- Develop processes, procedures, and toolkits to ensure applications adhere to NEOM’s Reference Cybersecurity Architecture and cybersecurity standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology disciplines, particularly in cybersecurity solution and technology.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong vendor management, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proven experience in deploying security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and IAM solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
