The company is looking for an amazingly talented Cybersecurity Specialist (Senior) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include managing cybersecurity operations for project information systems and business applications, such as account administration, eDiscovery, incident response, policy compliance, and security technology implementation. You will act as the primary technical point of contact with vendors and suppliers to develop cybersecurity solutions and provide recommendations to project management. Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and audit the technical and analytical aspects of cybersecurity systems and controls, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of workstations, servers, applications, and networks.
Key duties also involve supporting the secure operation of security technologies, identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats, providing training and support to end users and project teams, conducting vulnerability assessments, and serving as a cybersecurity representative on project teams. Monitoring cybersecurity risks and recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions will be essential to your role.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT infrastructure, or related technology environments.
- Strong experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security administration.
- Knowledge of network technologies such as MPLS, VPN, and wireless networking.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, including firewall technologies and digital signatures.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and related cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance practices.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and enterprise security solutions.
