As our Data Analyst, you will transform complex trading and client data into clear stories that guide product and growth decisions. You will work closely with teams in product, marketing, and finance, tracking performance, uncovering trends, and recommending actions that reduce costs and enhance revenue. Your expertise in SQL, Python, and statistics will ensure that your recommendations are sound.
Key Responsibilities:
- Query Optimisation: Build and tune SQL queries that process terabytes of trading data efficiently.
- Predictive Modelling: Utilize Python and R to develop models that forecast client behavior and revenue fluctuations.
- Dashboard Ownership: Design and maintain real-time dashboards for quick performance insights.
- Insight Generation: Synthesize trends from multiple data sources into actionable recommendations.
- Experiment Design: Structure A/B tests collaboratively with product and marketing teams.
- Statistical Rigor: Apply advanced statistics to derive meaningful insights with clear confidence intervals.
- Tool Innovation: Identify and implement new data tools to automate reporting and improve analysis efficiency.
Requirements:
- Data Manipulation: Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for managing large datasets.
- Dashboarding: Experience with Tableau or similar tools to create actionable dashboards.
- Statistical Foundation: Ability to apply core statistics to validate patterns.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of tackling ambiguous questions and learning new tools quickly.
- Communication: Strong ability to explain findings in English at CEFR B2 level or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Background in FinTech is highly preferred.
- Marketing Analytics: Experience in analyzing paid-channel performance and attribution.
- API Integration: Ability to connect and automate data flows with various platforms.
- Visualization Skills: Comfort with advanced features of Tableau or other BI tools.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple analyses simultaneously without losing detail.
