As a Payments Specialist, you will ensure we process and pay our partners accurately and on time. You will build connections with local stakeholders (finance, OTR, Tax, BC teams) and help establish processes for the timely and accurate delivery of information required for payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and drive Payment processes to Delivery Service Providers (DSPs).
- Develop relationships with stakeholders to define mechanisms for accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Track payment accuracy and timeliness to secure business sustainability.
A Day in the Life:
You will be based in the corporate office, allowing you to stay connected with every part of the payment processes and providing access to the key teams that will drive payment inputs and approvals. This role focuses on processing payments and ensuring DSPs are paid accurately and on time.

The company Logistics (AMZL) handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers, with the goal of ensuring the smoothest possible delivery experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced SQL skills are mandatory.
- Experience in accounting and/or finance is a plus.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience driving roadmap strategy and on-ground implementation while navigating across stakeholders.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Effective email writing and communication skills.
- Intermediate Excel and data analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong writing and influencing skills.
- Ability to structure an argument that is brief, complete, clear, and concise.
Work Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in the corporate office in Dubai.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
