Key Responsibilities:
- Access, construct, and manipulate large datasets to support analyses using SQL, Python, and similar tools.
- Design and develop BI dashboards using Sisense or similar tools (Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio) for various organizational metrics.
- Define KPIs and drive data governance through standardization and communication.
- Extract data for stakeholders using dashboards, reports, or Google Sheets.
- Create documentation and presentations for management under senior staff supervision.
- Develop analysis and reporting capabilities and monitor performance and quality control plans for improvements.
- Conduct research and validation of data using internal and external data sources.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and interpretation of experiments for strategy refinement.
- Ensure data quality and timely delivery of reports.
- Participate in analytics and reporting training to promote data across the organization.
- Understand business models and user funnels to drive product growth.
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B test experiments to inform product strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of work experience in analytics, particularly in an internet/e-commerce company.
- Experience in e-commerce, internet, or digital media.
- Proficiency in SQL and exceptional Microsoft Excel skills; skills in Python, R, or similar tools are a plus.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English.
- Ability to work autonomously and solve complex problems.
- Passion for data and metrics, with a hands-on attitude in a fast-paced setting.
