As a Data Analyst, you will be in a central role, evangelizing data and methodologies to other functional analysts and stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product within a high-paced, professional, international, and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Access and manipulate large datasets to support analyses using SQL, Python, and similar tools.
- Design and develop BI dashboards using Sisense or similar tools (Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio) for organizational metrics.
- Define KPIs and drive data governance through standardization and communication.
- Share extracted data with stakeholders through dashboards, reports, or Google Sheets.
- Create documentation and presentations for management under supervision.
- Develop analysis and reporting capabilities, monitor performance, and identify improvements.
- Research and validate entity data using appropriate internal and external sources.
- Participate in analysis, specification, testing, and implementation of interface and workflow solutions.
- Design, implement, and interpret experiments for strategy refinement.
- Ensure data quality and timely delivery of reports.
- Participate in Analytics & Reporting trainings to promote data across the organization.
- Work autonomously and comprehend business models to identify product growth opportunities.
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B test experiments to inform product strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field (Master's is a plus).
- 3+ years of work experience in analytics within an internet/e-commerce company.
- Proficiency in SQL and exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Skills in Python, R, or similar tools are a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with good attention to detail.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English.
- Ability to seek information, solve conceptual problems, and deliver high-quality results independently.
- Passion for data and metrics with a hands-on attitude.
