ByteDance is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Workplace Service - Information System team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup of business indicator systems for the Corporate Services team, which includes areas such as Real Estate, Physical Security, and Administration. You will analyze long-term trends and short-term anomalies, providing valuable insights through reports. Your skills will help build dashboards based on these indicator systems and establish daily trackers and monitoring systems to promptly identify relevant trends or potential blockers.
You will conduct various data analyses according to business needs, quickly pinpointing internal issues or discovering opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis and modeling. Additionally, you will maintain smooth and effective communication with internal stakeholders, including teams in Business Operations, Data Warehouse, Product, R&D, and Algorithms, to ensure the implementation and continuous optimization of data analysis reports. Your goal will be to build user-friendly data systems and data products that support business operations.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least three years of relevant experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong data mining and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate business problems into data modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and algorithms (ML, causal inference).
- Experience in data analysis within the internet or technology industries.
- Strong learning ability with a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead small project teams.
