About the Role
This role is well suited for candidates coming from either a Data & Analytics background or an Endpoint Engineering background who can combine technical expertise with analytics and visualization to improve digital workplace outcomes. It helps the company IT move from reactive support to proactive issue prevention by identifying friction points, automating repeatable work, enabling remediation, and supporting communication campaigns that enhance employee behavior and technology outcomes. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work with complex datasets, and the capability to distill technical data into simple, actionable stories that assist teams in understanding the situation, its significance, and the recommended actions.

What You’ll Do

  • Data & Analytics Engineering

    • Build and maintain DEX data pipelines using Nexthink, NQL, Microsoft Intune telemetry, and automation outputs.
    • Build dashboards and reporting solutions that translate Digital workplace data into actionable insights.
    • Clean, enrich, normalize, and validate datasets for downstream consumption by dashboards, data lakes, automation engines, and Digital Workplace teams.
    • Perform deep analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, repeat issues, employee friction points, automation opportunities, and campaign opportunities.
    • Create reusable datasets, queries, dashboards, and summaries that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Automation Development

    • Develop, maintain, and improve Python and PowerShell-based automations.
    • Support integrations between Nexthink, Intune, automation outputs, and other enterprise systems.
    • Build automations that reduce manual effort, improve endpoint health, and prevent recurring help desk tickets.
    • Ensure automations include logging, validation, error handling, measurement, and rollback considerations.
  • Insight Generation & Storytelling

    • Convert complex analytical findings into clear narratives, simple visuals, or summaries, actionable recommendations, and prioritized next steps.
    • Help answer key operational questions about issues occurring, their spread, impacted employees or devices, likely causes, recommended actions, and success measurement.
    • Support the design and execution of automation communication campaigns that influence employee behavior and reduce friction.
    • Analyze campaign results and employee response data to determine whether the intended behavior or outcome was achieved.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

    • Work closely with Digital Workplace, Service Operations, and engineering stakeholders to understand business needs and technical constraints.
    • Continuously monitor experience metrics to proactively identify emerging issues.
    • Use AI-driven tools where appropriate to assist with scripting, diagnostics, hypothesis generation, documentation, and resolution drafting.

What You’ll Need

  • 2-4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting solutions, data pipelines, and analytics workflows.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Exposure to Digital Workplace, endpoint management, DEX telemetry, Intune, or similar enterprise technology data.
  • Experience with Nexthink, NQL, Intune telemetry, endpoint management platforms, or similar Digital Experience (DEX) tools is preferred.

Who You Are

  • A strong communicator.
  • Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced environment.
