As a Data Analytics Manager, you will drive data and performance enablement across the company Airport Operations UAE (dAO) by designing frameworks that translate operational, financial, and workforce data into actionable insights. You will promote a data-driven culture through governance, clear metrics, and scalable solutions that support smarter decision-making. The role involves leveraging advanced analytics and data science to uncover opportunities, influence strategic direction, and enhance operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the dAO Data Analytics team, which includes Data Product, Business Engagement, Governance, and Data Science functions.
- Document and maintain the company data and analytics strategy and operating model, ensuring alignment across dAO.
- Serve as data steward for dAO, managing the central glossary, definitions, and standardized KPIs.
- Manage dependencies across programs and provide updates for corporate reporting on strategic data management initiatives.
- Oversee daily data operations, workflows, and data management employees, ensuring effective integration and solution implementation.
- Drive continuous review of data insights and lead engagement with Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) and business stakeholders to enhance data capabilities.
- Build predictive and forecasting models to support informed decision-making and deliver high-value use cases in collaboration with business leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or Industrial fields, preferably within an airline or similar operational environment.
- Minimum 3 years in a management role, leading cross-functional and virtual teams.
- Proven experience building and leading data communities of practice and promoting data-driven decision-making.
- Proficient in enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Snowflake).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of translating technical concepts into clear business language.
