Responsibilities
- Grow the adoption of advanced analytics across the organization by proactively identifying use cases and tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Review and enhance the current advanced analytics portfolio.
- Assess the utilization and effectiveness of advanced analytics solutions across various business units and propose improvements.
- Evaluate the current infrastructure used for developing and hosting analytical products, suggesting new collaboration platforms (e.g., Alteryx, SAS, Data Robot) for more efficient collaboration and archiving.
- Increase awareness of advanced analytics through educational sessions, incentivizing departments to consider improvements through analytics.
- Explore and prioritize advanced analytics use cases to support the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Develop Proof-of-Concept analytical solutions to validate the effectiveness of proposed use cases.
- Create complex analytical models and solutions using machine learning and deep learning techniques for internal and external stakeholders.
- Define and scope requirements for developing advanced analytics-enabled products.
- Perform complex data analysis or develop analytical models to support strategic questions from stakeholders.
- Define Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for various advanced analytics products in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Translate BRDs and SLAs into actionable tasks to deliver products within required timelines and quality standards.
- Manage external requests and optimize workload allocation effectively.
- Ensure effective communication with departments and stakeholders to align on deliverables and analytics products.
- Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and implement measures to improve delivery.
Organization and Operations
- Adhere to relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and controlled work.
- Assist in solving escalated problems and support junior team members to ensure efficiency.
- Escalate complex issues when necessary to ensure proper issue resolution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
People Management
- Train junior staff on various job functions to facilitate knowledge transfer as needed.
- Provide clear guidance, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibilities, and monitor workflow for junior staff.
- Support junior staff or direct reports in executing their responsibilities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent is required.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advanced analytics or related fields.
