Data and Analytics Manager

The company Worldwide Insurance Company, KSA, is seeking a Data & Analytics Manager based in Riyadh to support the development of the local Data & Analytics function. In this role, you will oversee the local D&A team, facilitate the transition of business reporting and data processes to local systems, and develop data analytics and business reporting for multiple business functions. This position is key to driving the company's digital transformation and ensuring data integrity and accessibility across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, setting performance expectations and conducting appraisals. Ensure continuous professional development.
• Support the Transition to Localized Systems: Aid in migrating data-dependent processes and business reporting to new local systems.
• Data Architecture, Governance and Management: Design and maintain data models, ensuring they support regulatory, operational, and analytical reporting needs, while implementing data governance strategies.
• Data Extraction and Reconciliation: Oversee data extraction and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy for key functions such as actuarial, underwriting, and finance.
• Reporting Support: Develop and maintain reporting capabilities for various functions, overseeing the transition from manual to automated reporting processes.
• Collaboration: Work with IT and business stakeholders to define data integration requirements, ensuring departmental data needs are met.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data management and reporting processes with new tools and technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in Data & Analytics, preferably in the Saudi Arabian medical insurance industry, with at least 3-5 years in management.

Personal Profile:

• Experience: 6+ years in data and analytics with a strong background in data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Analytical Skills: Strong capabilities in building and implementing data models and reports.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights.
• Collaboration: Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
